Volunteers will play an essential role in bringing a future West Forest NFL FLAG program to life. From coaching and officiating to field setup and registration support, volunteers will help create a fun, fair, and safe experience for young athletes in West London, Ontario.
We are currently building a list of people who may be interested in helping. Completing the volunteer interest form does not require a commitment—it simply helps us understand the support available within our community.
Depending on the needs of the program, opportunities may include:
Head or assistant coaching
Refereeing games
Team coordination
Field setup and game-day support
Registration and check-in
Photography and social media
Sponsorship and fundraising
No previous coaching or refereeing experience is required for most positions. Volunteers will receive information about the rules, responsibilities, and expectations before participating.
The schedule, season dates, and field location have not yet been finalized. Our goal is to operate in West London, with activities likely taking place on weekday evenings or weekends.
The information provided through our interest forms will help us determine the best age divisions, schedule, location, and program format.
We welcome interest from:
High school and university students
Parents and family members
Coaches and sports officials
Community members interested in supporting youth sports
Eligible high school students may be able to receive community service hours. Referee compensation or honorariums will be confirmed if the program moves forward.
The launch of a future season will depend on player interest, volunteer availability, field access, and other operational requirements. If you would like to help make youth flag football possible in West London, please complete our volunteer interest form.
