West Forest Sports League is an inaugural youth flag football league partnered with NFL FLAG, the official flag football program of the NFL. Being inaugural does not mean we take a light approach—quite the opposite. From day one, our focus is on building a league that is intentional, well-organized, and athlete-centred.
We value our athletes, the families who support them, and those who support the league as a whole. Partnering with NFL FLAG provides a structured program and the framework needed to deliver a high-quality flag football experience. These supports allow West Forest Sports to grow responsibly while maintaining strong standards for safety, organization, and overall league operations.
As an inaugural season, our focus is not on large or costly venues, but on creating a safe, affordable, and athlete-focused first experience. By staying local and prioritizing our community, we are able to put resources where they matter most—into the quality of the league and the experience of the athletes. Every strong league starts somewhere.
This approach does not mean cutting corners on what matters. Safety, affordability, and a positive overall experience remain core priorities. We are always open to feedback from parents and, most importantly, from the athletes themselves as we continue to grow and improve.
As an inaugural season, league operation is dependent on meeting minimum registration numbers and securing sufficient officials. If these requirements are not met, the season may be postponed or not run. In such cases, all registered families will be notified promptly and any payments made will be refunded in full.
My name is Ryan, and I am a student at Western University pursuing studies in Education and Criminology. Through my academic work, placements, and volunteer experience in local schools within the London District Catholic School Board, I have gained valuable experience working with youth in structured, supportive environments.
As an aspiring educator, I place a strong emphasis on student experience, safety, and personal development. I take pride in creating positive spaces for young athletes and am committed to making each child’s experience in the league engaging, supportive, and enjoyable.
